The BIA Holiday Open House has become an annual tradition over the last couple of years. Normally in November, this night fills the downtown will holiday cheer, local business promotions, and quality local vendors.

Thank you to everyone who made last night an amazing evening filled with smiles, laughter and an abundance of positivity! Thank you to our kids for going the extra mile of monitoring the customer count and constant sanitizing, our staff for running a magical night with displays, smiles and never skipping a beat! Our customers for not only supporting our small business but supporting our family! Kudos to Kelsey with the BIA for organizing such an amazing evening! Wallaceburg never disappoints! |

We see it, and we feel it. We are so incredibly thankful for you all. My heart is warm! For my staff for running around like crazy last night, wrapping gifts, sharing smiles. You guys make the store what it is! For my hubby for helping us set up, tear down, bringing our little man to visit me so I didn’t have to go 12 hrs without a snuggle, and for coming to stand in the cold with me. This Christmas Open House was different, but it was still such a wonderful day, filled with wonderful people. During these uncertain times, I am so thankful to live in this town with all of its unwavering support. |
2020 Holiday Market Success

Happy Holidays! What an amazing turn out last night for our Downtown Wallaceburg BIA Holiday Market. Downtown was packed with socially distant vendors, local businesses and holiday cheer!
On behalf of the downtown merchants, the visiting vendors, and our volunteers, I would like to thank you for participating in such a great night. In only a few short weeks of receiving Municipal and Health unit approval we were able to plan a safe and much needed community event. Thank you for visiting with us. Thank you for shopping with us. Thank you for your patience as we navigated Covid gathering restrictions to make this event possible.
We know how difficult this year has been on everyone and we are so amazed at the local community spirit shown last night. We understand that the requirements of social distancing made long lines where normally our stores and stalls would be bustling with activity. Even so you came out, waited patiently and supported local. After such a successful night we are bursting with ideas and positivity thinking about what we could do without the restrictions.
The Downtown Wallaceburg BIA will continue to look for new ways to help everyone in this difficult time. Please continue to patronize our local merchants, and creators as we move towards Christmas and the New Year.
We learned a lot this year. Hopefully next year will not present the same challenges. For now, stay healthy and stay strong. Merry Christmas from everyone in Downtown Wallaceburg.
